Where does your source of true knowledge come from?

Prov 2:6,9-11 For the Lord gives wisdom, and from his mouth come knowledge and understanding....





Then you will understand what is right and just and fair--every good path.





For wisdom will enter your heart, and knowledge will be pleasant to your soul.





Discretion will protect you, and understanding will guard you.Where does your source of true knowledge come from?
I trust in God and His message--salvation through Jesus; sure I have no evidence as some would like to possess before one belives but I trust the He is for I have seen His greatness (for I was so close to death to where the doctors called my family--siblings alone by mom did not know what was at stake) anyhow, from a death sentence one day to the next--when I woke up my siblings were coming in (this based on my sister's recall of that day) she '; I saw someone on my brother's bed and I went to his[me] and when he saw me he asked to get him a cheese burger'; so how can I not trust in God's word--the Bible to be my source of life; sure I also hold men's knowledge on how to work with people deal with their hurts and suffering but even if this will grant me much $$$$$$$ ($150 per hr) I will forever trust in God.


Sadly, some will never know Him for they need to see (evidence) to believe which comes from their hurt heart and mistrust of what they do not know or see.


I wish I could say that all our prayers will have an answer but that is not always; do you recall what the angel--Gabriel told Daniel after he prayed and prayed and his prayer seemed not to have an answer? That is where we seem to be too at times.


Bless you my sister in Christ and bless you for being true; so fight the good fight and I pray that your needs be answered for I know how it hurts when our supplication is not, do you recall Jesus when he was walking on water and ....he took his eyes off Jesus and saw the storm(the problem) around him---his faith fell short but he was true when he need Him most.Where does your source of true knowledge come from?
My SOURCE of TRUE KNOWLEDGE comes from that


Secret Place of the Most High, through the still small


voice that gets louder the longer I practice listening


to it first and foremost. It's always there, always


available and always correct. It's me that can get in


the way and sometimes I listen (mostly) and sometimes


I don't (cause I'm self-willed, duh). And always always


there is incredible peace that passes understanding


when I listen and follow that still small voice from the


Secret Place of the Most High.

yes. true knowledge comes from God... the all Knowing... the all wise.


Proverbs 8 speaks very much of wisdom... and is wonderful reading for anyone looking to strengthen their faith. all Sacred Scripture is full of advice on how to live one's life in a correct and healthy manner. some think that they can do it on their own... but is the created greater than the Creator? no. certainly not. the only avenue left for someone against this thought is to deny the Creator LORD our God. they will say there that there is no evidence of God and use such arguments... but i feel that with poor sight... one has a difficult time seeing the truth.

in addition... knowledge is a gift of God... as is wisdom...


remember King Solomon prayed for wisdom and it pleased the LORD and was granted. as a result... we have Proverbs and some Psalms as well to create a bedrock on which to place our faith. Oh our God is an awesome LORD...

True knowledge? Well, then it would be from the well-written books. I'm surprised to see your question here in this religion-page! How could you expect a Hindu or Buddhist would find ';true knowledge'; from your Bible-source? (With respect to the Bible, please.)
Exactly that.. if He chooses to help me with knowledge for the world such as I have to do for my job, thats great.





But my faith is everything to me and thats where my life is at.
Evidence. If you don't have evidence, you don't have knowledge. End of story.


Anything else is simply not knowing.

My source of ';true knowledge'; is the Holy Spirit who indwells me and is from God the Father and was sent to us by His Son after His ascension.





John 14:26 But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.





I Cor. 2:10-16 But God has revealed them for us through His Spirit.
