What is the true meaning of knowledge?

Why do we learn? What is the true meaning of knowledge?
There is no meaning in knowledge itself. The meaning comes from the constructive application of knowledge in your life. What is the true meaning of knowledge?
lol, who knows! but the 4 main theories on the subject are

foundationalism (build up knowledge from indubitable truths)

coherentism (knowledge is any set of true, justified beliefs)

idealism (the world is inside our head... all things are actually ideas)

externalism (the world happens outside of us.. and we are just processing units.. like a computer)

and each defines knowledge as something different.

And knowledge doesn't necessarily bring happiness... does knowing that a loved one died make you happy? Knowledge just is... we assign emotion to certain aspects of it based on our own experiences.
Knowledge give us the power to choose and/or help others make the same chose about their lives.

Ignorance is worse, 'cause it creates lack of true understanding, which on some occassions can be deadly. Seen it.
We learn because it is our nature. We were meant to be thinkers, adapters, those who yearn for knowledge. Knowledge brings me happiness, though I cannot say the same for everyone else. Peace!
Knowing what makes you happy or not, then learn to bring those things to you and keep them.
