hey broken antibi - kiss my ***

';Enthusiasm is a substitute for knowledge';. Is it true????

No, but it can be a substitute for intelligence. A person who brings curiosity and energy to a project or subject will almost always get better results than a more intelligent person who's bored with it. Knowledge, however, is a different story-- if you don't have it you'll have to get it. There's no substitute.';Enthusiasm is a substitute for knowledge';. Is it true????
No cliche is true. None are false, either.

I do think it's true that people who think cliches and sententiae and other sound-bites are worth discussing are shallow. Share that with your professor :-)';Enthusiasm is a substitute for knowledge';. Is it true????
it's true until you meet an enthuiastic fool
Enthusiasm is a rapture of a particular knowledge over another.

It is a passion and thus separate from knowledge, but it is not a substitute.
No. Without enthusiasm learning would feel crap.
This saying sometimes works for employers. But not always. It depends on the job the enthusiastic employee is going to be doing. Usually a manual labor position, or something like receptionist.
No. Enthusiasm is the strong disire to something which you do it happily , full of energy. Knowledge is the range of one's information or understanding .
All of us lack knowledge. Enthusiasm is the necessary soil in which it can grow. Pretty hard to learn something you are not enthusiastic about studying.

BTW - ';enthusiasm'; comes from the ancient Greek meaning ';In God.'; Being enthusiastic is being under divine influence and thus the fount of all knowledge.
no it is not!

it is the foundation of knowledge!

How true is it that ignorance is bliss and knowledge sorrow?

If I told you the answer, you'd become very very sad.

Is knowledge always true?

If the individual considers it to be knowledge, then that individual considers it to be true.

Subjectively, yes, Knowledge is always true.Is knowledge always true?
';Knowing'; may not be true but the word ';knowledge'; is used for the true things. Sometimes I become puzzled though! I know two guys: one is a young engineer who had all the academic courses on car-engine %26amp; opened a motor workshop. The other one is an old guy who had his workshop from his early-hood. Both of them had 'knowledge' on cars! Unfortunately, people relied on the old one who never appeared in any academic courses on car-technology! I can't understand the reason behind! (Please, do not mention the question of experiences; since we are talking on knowledge.)Is knowledge always true?
Yes. If it isn't true, then it's an assumption or belief, not knowledge. Though people can assume or believe that they know something when really they don't, of course.
By definition, knowledge is a true, warranted belief. So yes.
How can you know anything?

Is not knowledge not just inference?
';There's nothing you can know that can't be known';.

-The Beatles, ';All You Need Is Love';
It could be... You'll never know until you die..
It is...Until is is not.
Nope. It simply isn't.
No, it is not.

Imagination is more important than knowledge.is it true?

Some people believe so, I think they're equally important. Without knowledge we can't realize the goals our imagination gives us.Imagination is more important than knowledge.is it true?
It all depends, I would say. If you have a great deal of both, I dare say you're in good shape, but if you have a grand imagination and no knowledge, you're really no further forward than a child (Which isn't a bad thing if you really think about it...how many of us would live to be a kid again?). If you have all knowledge and no imagination, you likely have a pretty miserable life.

Just my humble opinion. :)Imagination is more important than knowledge.is it true?
If Einstein said it, it's gotta be true.
Imagination certaintly is more sacred, but everything must be in moderation. To have no knowlege and a huge amount of imagination wouldn't be the best thing in the world. The same applies vice versa. To have no imagination and have quite a bit of knowlege makes you boring. You musn't tip the scales.
False, neither works efficiently without the other. They work best when used together.
Can you imagin such a thing. without knowedge how can you possibly know what to imagin.

Imagination is what we all have and those with the knoledge to know what to do with it are the ones that truely succede.

How do you supose Bill Gates became the richest. Yes he is intelegent. It was the combination of what he knew and what he could imagin. He had some very good ideas but he also had the knoledge and drive to make them work.

Knowledge without imagination is enough to get by with. Imagination without knoledge will get you no place.
imagination is a virtue but so is knowledge it all depends when and where
Intelligence is more important. I don't care if you have the biggest imagination in the world, if you are as dumb as a rock there is no helping you.

It is best to have both. The knowledge to pursue your dreams.
    yes, sugar plum!
I like to day dream but it's all ways when I have to learn something Important like at work, here are the safty exits?

2 months on the job and still have not found the safty exits to scared to ask my boss about not listing.

HARE KRISHNA ,HARE KRISHNA ,KRISHNA KRISHNA ,HARE HARE,HARE RAMA ,HARE RAMA ,RAMA RAMA ,HARE HAREWhich of the following is true for knowledge (jnan) and Bhakti(Selfless devotion for the God with Love )?
Mere Bahthi is blind belief .It may e right or wrong .god himself has advised this Bhathi Marga to people of average intelligence .Gnana marg is the highest way to aattqin God .god himself is wisdom.Bhakthi based on Gnana is the true and knowledgeable /bhakthi.Gnana will lead to sure and real bhakthiWhich of the following is true for knowledge (jnan) and Bhakti(Selfless devotion for the God with Love )?
In hinduism, there are 3 ways to reach God, namely..knowledge(jnan), Karma (action) and Bhakti(devotion).

in knowledge, you try to ascertain God to suit your intellect. You learn, argue, convince about supremacy of God.

In karma, your actions are divinity-oriented. you work just enough to earn your livelihood, you don't evaluate anybody financially etc..Kabir, king janak are the best examples of karma yogis.

In bhakti, you don't try to evaluate god anyhow-just accept him as supreme and chant mantra/devotional songs, bhajans, kirtans etc..you intend to get lost in divinity. Mira is the most prominent bhakti-yogini the history has witnessed.

since in Bhakti, you start with surrendering, in my opinion, it is the easiest and the best.
Love human being universally and use your knowledge to the service of mankind.
    i didnt understand what you mean by ';a';

    b and c are right

each path is complete in itself

    remember Krishna says- ';the one who gets situated in any one, gets fruit of both';

';this yog is free of sins and even if one starts and does not finish , he gets the result'; ; and then he goes explaining how a ';bhrashta yogi'; soon reaches his destination in next life
hare krishna hare krishna krishna krishna hare hare
A person who takes any specific path like Jnana, Bhakti, Raja Yoga, Karma Yoga will attain all the others. If a person is travelling in Jnana path then he will obtain Karma Yoga, Bhakti, Raja Yoga etc .

Consider a Jnana Yogi like Ramana Maharshi! Isn't he a Karma Yogi, Isn't he a Bhakta of Lord Shiva and he even realized the ultimate ideal of Raja Yoga-Samadhi.
