It is true in the most naive sense. But if we look at AI (artificial intelligence) research then computers can be made to behave to learn by themselves. Like for example even simple robots that are made to traverse obstacles have inbuilt ability to learn the best way to traverse an obstacles. It is however true that in the first place a human coded that robot. But we can possiblly think of a future scenario where a machine can become much more intelligent than it was when it was created and by whom it was created. Is it true all world knowledge a computer has is only from humans?
You are talking about information ( pictures, measure temperature, measure air pressure etc ), but this is not necesarily Knowledge....
yes, but how to gather that information was put there by humans, and it was sent to the moon by humans to gather this information
Humans make the software and machines. Human also made the equipment and the programs to probe the moon. Computers are not living things so they can't think for themselves they can only do what humans program them to do.
Who do you suppose sent the probe to the moon? - Ultimately everything a computer receives is sent there by human intervention.
Knowledge is something which u can use to make decisions otherwise it is just data without any interpretation. The example which u've mentioned is of a probe collecting data. Now, it is only humans who can understand that data thru prior knowledge and convert it into information. Though, it is currently a very hot topic in research where bots are being coded to learn and grow on their own without the help of humans.
