True knowledge exists in knowing that you know nothing. True or False?

That's a famous quote by Socrates and of course true.True knowledge exists in knowing that you know nothing. True or False?
Not a logical choice. Asker is violating the spirit of asking good Q's and picking BA's

true
Change nothing to little and I agree wholeheartedly.
True! I know that I am perfectly imperfect and i know nothing for positive sure!
Yeah, I think so. It's more of a realization. But how can you know if you know nothing? The point is, you just don't know :D
When you are able to admit that you do not know, that you are not the source of true knowledge and understanding (not many egos can do this) then you are now open to the source of true knowledge, and it begins to reveal things to you in wordless ways, and you are then on the road of true understanding.
I didn't know that!
False. Obviously, knowing that you know nothing is knowing something. It may be from Socrates, but it's still a silly freshman philosophy 101 kind of statement, that makes all the other freshmen nod their heads and say ';Wow! That's deep!';

True knowledge exists in knowing that you know enough to learn more.
False! The knowlege that you know little about what there is to know should motivate you to ask Q's and put effort into knowing more by learning from others esp people who are smarter and more knowledgeable. Usually these people are highly educated or auto-didactic gifted people. Usually they are older than you, elders who are wise and like mentoring others. I also recommend learning from the books written by these kinds of people.

Knowing you know little is nothing to be ashamed of. It is the beginning of the wonderous learning voyage. What is a shame, is that , awareness of the importance of knowledge %26amp; given the opportunity, you never go on that great mind-popping voyage.

Socrates is being incorrectly portrayed by those who say he said or meant to say : ';True knowledge exists in knowing that you know nothing.'; Socrates knew alot more than his contemporaries but he was not a braggart. His position on not knowing much of anything is known as having the sense, the understanding, the wisdom *to be intellectually humble* and to seek knowledge through discussion and Q%26amp;A. If you actually read Plato's Dialogues , you will learn who the historical Socrates was, and more importantly what, how, and why he was such an inspiring philosopher, thinker, and teacher of humankind.

Intellectual humility is an intellectual virtue and all great teachers have it. I have met such people and sat in lectures by such people back when I was a college student, and many times since because I continue to take adult courses at great schools. Open your minds and learn all that you can, when you can. You who are young now have the gift of the internet, the greatest tool ever developed to find knowledge following your interests and to develop your intellect. Don't waste the opportunity given to you.
False. To realize you know nothing is to actually possess true knowledge.
Hello, this is Onist. I would have to disagree. True knowledge exist when you realize that you're everything.

It's to often that we as humans cut ourselves down, because we don't want to seem full of ourselves, little do we recognize that we are belittling our creator (who or whatever made us).

We are a work of art, our reason ability alone shows the time and attn it took to create or become us.

The energy in our bodies could light cities, the love in our hearts can satisfy millions, and our mind hasn't even come close to reaching full potential.

Yes, we're the end all to be all, at least I am what about you?

Yeah, we all are that's why we're (all of us together) everything.
