If it is true that ignorance is bliss, does that make those of us that constantly crave knowledge masochist?

Actually ignorance is not bliss. If you are ignorant, perhaps you won't feel bad realities, but still they do exist and cause the problems, and doesn't differ whether you know or not, but one difference: if you know the reality, since you are a Homo sapiens and have a creative mind, you can think of solutions and get over them.

I know that often the reality is more severe than our tolerance, but in order to overcome and survive and bliss, ignorance is just a reduction in painful death; Not survive. So you should accept that life is so dangerous, and being alive costs, so you should be brave. Just the brave succeed. If it is true that ignorance is bliss, does that make those of us that constantly crave knowledge masochist?
No, the opposite of bliss is not pain and the lack of it isn't misery. There is no such thing as true bliss, something is always wrong you can only learn to deal with it. So those of us who crave knowledge are simply those who are striving to reach bliss in another way, in another form.If it is true that ignorance is bliss, does that make those of us that constantly crave knowledge masochist?
Igorance is not bliss but poverty. A masochist it ignorant and thus in poverty, who knows what cycles around in their noggin? Sanity is the ideal but I am as dumb as a brick.
I don't know.

I haven't really thought about it

I feel good about that.

It's fine by me if you are.

I would stand up and shout for the unexamined life but I haven't thought about it really.
those blissfully ignorant people are not to be envied

and knowledge, my friend, is power, not a punishment
ignorance is not bliss lol. it's vegetation.
So then teachers are Sadists? And anyone who enjoys teaching or being taught is in an S%26amp;M relationship?
