Is it true that housewives have less knowledge and experience than working women?

noIs it true that housewives have less knowledge and experience than working women?
That is not necessarily true at all. Many working women have little education and do unskilled work. They don't have time to read much, or even watch the news because of work, children, household chores, etc.

This is NOT ALL, but many of the unskilled.

Many housewives handle the family accounts, learn skills in the kitchen, garden, and have hobbies as well. Many interact more with other parents at PTA, and also may have more time for church and other social activities which can stimulate the mind.

Either way, this question is a sweeping generality, and can't really be answered properly because of all the variables. But the question should make us think that there are pluses and minuses for working, or not.Is it true that housewives have less knowledge and experience than working women?
There is a small truth in there but it depends on what kind of knowledge and experience you are talking about.

Housewives refine they're skills in maintaining the household order and well as experience with children.

Working women would on the other side have more experience in the domain they are working as well as more social interaction capability.

The rest is purely dependent on the person, and personality.
Homemaking used to be an art in and of itself. Home economics were classes you could take in school in fact. Housewives were once capable of a multitude of tasks

-keeping a budget / finances

-how to clean almost anything

-mending / tailoring clothes

-darning socks

-canning fruits and vegetables

-making real home-cooked meals

I mean a lot of other things. Today with throw-away shirts and lean cuisine dinners it seems like for the standard housewife there is a lot less to do although some may retain their mothers' knowledge of yore. It is a difficult question to judge because most women go to college now so less knowledge - perhaps not. Less experience - Maybe.
Housewives are working women, they work at home. They have less knowledge and experience on export-import compared to a woman who works in the export-import business, but the housewives have more knowledge and experience about raising up a child compared to a woman who works in an office and does not raise a child.
Even though I get the feeling you're trolling, I'm going to answer.

A housewife is just someone who stays home and takes care of the house and kids. Being a housewife doesn't have any qualification on whether or not the person has knowledge and experience. One of my cousins was an attorney for several years, then when she had kids, she stayed home and became a housewife.
It's not a matter of who has ';less'; or ';more'; knowledge. It's that they each have DIFFERENT pieces of knowledge or experience. And who says that a housewife isn't a ';working'; woman just because she doesn't earn a paycheck? Most people who leave the house to go to an office or what-have-they work for a certain set of hours every day and come home. Housewives work 24/7.
NO. I am a Housewife, and I LOVE what I do, thanks very much. I Volunteer my time, as a Chemo Angel, Hero, on Wish Upon A Hero, I am also a WISH Ambassador, participate in shareacard.org, makeachildsmile, and adoptaplattoon. I have plenty of WAYS to use my Brain.
It depends on what kind of a working women, a ';hooker'; is a working woman, and so is a doctor. The doctor probably would in certain areas, but the hooker probably will not.
Not necessarily, you could have an extremely smart woman who may have been successful at school and maybe even had success in the working environment but decided of her own accord to stay at home and look after her child or children because it means more to her.
Listen, kid...there are two kinds of people in this world:

a) Parents;

b) People who don't have perspective on anything.

Mothers who stay home are far more experienced than any given career woman. I guarantee they know more about life and living than almost everyone.
No I believe some housewives have more knowledge about somethings than working women and Viceversa. I don't think that one is generally a smarter person than the other just different experience in different things.
no bloody WAY! housewives and nannies etc work just as hard if not harder than working women, whether their being a housewife is by choice or circumstance. being a stay at home mother is not a lesser job to say an executive position.
depends on their amount of education and level of intelligence. most working women have had some form of higher education, but house wives may have also
yes because working women interacts in a everyday work based experience and houswives clean, cook, and take care of the kids! it makes sense right!
Jerk Answer: Get off the computer and make me my sandwich
