i just now watched episode one of season two of true blood. i have to admit that i am terribly addicted to this series. i was so glad lafayette wasn't dead and hope he becomes a vampire. it was my understanding that had the series followed true to the books he would have died. i want to know if anyone has any inside knowledge of whats to come this season. im getting ready to watch the episode i just watch again at 11. I LOVE IT.Any inside knowledge of season two of true blood?
i'm totally addicted to the show, too! i'm currently reading the series (i'm almost done with book 5 out of 9) and they are very good. but, while i did notice that season one tended to go right along with the first book (there were a few minor differences but for the most part the story line was the same) i can't really say the same about the second book. not yet have i read that jason finds religion and that whole story line about tara is way off. actually, in the second story, eric makes sookie and bill go to dallas, texas to checkout the fellowship of the sun worshipers because they apparently have one of eric's companions. i do like the story that they are doing in the show about lafeyette. it's completely unexpected but i love it. i hope he becomes a vampire, too. sadly, in the second book, it's his body that they find in andy's car but don't worry...they figure out what happened to him and bill and eric take care of the matter.
i guess what i'm trying to say is that even though i've read the books i don't have much insight into the new season because it's just so different. but, i love both the show and the books so i'll continue to keep reading as well as watching!Any inside knowledge of season two of true blood?
the TV series has not followed the books much at all, which is disapointing. i like the show, but the books where better.
