Do we have true knowledge of God or is that so-called knowledge only faith-based beliefs from the Bible/Koran?

This is a ';knowledge versus belief'; philosophy Q! I'd appreciate a thoughtful answer from anyone who can give it?Do we have true knowledge of God or is that so-called knowledge only faith-based beliefs from the Bible/Koran?
God reveals Himself to those who seek Him with their whole heart.

There is a true knowledge of God which can only be received by revelation from Him.

Many have a good knowledge of the Bible but have never had that revelation from God and are strangers to Him.

Many believe in God but do not know Him since they have not received that revelation.

Revelation is personal and though it can be tested it cannot be imparted.

It can only be received from God.

There are many beliefs but only that belief that is from revelation is the true belief.

God deals with every one personally.

Surely, even from a merely philosophical viewpoint these things ought to be apparent?Do we have true knowledge of God or is that so-called knowledge only faith-based beliefs from the Bible/Koran?
Anyone who claims to have ';true knowledge of God'; is sadly mistaken.

No matter whether you look at the Bible or the Qu'ran or at any other sacred text, they all agree that God is beyond human comprehension.

You may have caught a glimpse or reached a small understanding, but beyond that you're just kidding yourself.

ADDITIONAL:

You might want to look into the concept of gnosis. In my religion we have something called a UPG, an Unverifiable Personal Gnosis. This, in a nutshell, states that an individual may have an experience (gain knowledge) of a god through direct revelation. However it is not expected that anyone else has to accept it or believe in it themselves.

I also don't think that many people who believe in the Bible or the Koran would accept that concept.
Theres not a single drop of evidence in recorded history that supports the idea of a God/gods or any deity of the sort. The only reason people think their is a God is because it is written in books like the Bible. But what if I wrote a book that said that George Bush could turn people to stone by looking at them? What if I hid this book and 2000 years later it turned up? Would people believe this just like they believe the Bible? As crazy as Bush turning people to stone sounds, it doesnt sound any crazier than what the Bible preaches.

So honestly, theres no evidence to support any information in the Bible and the Bible is the ONLY document which can support this information. Think about today, we have HUNDREDS of different documents to support claims. If someone told you that drinking acid made you live longer and ONE document agreed with the statement would you believe it? What if 100 documents claimed this, THEN would you believe it? I sure would if the sources were good, and what credits does the writers of the Bible have that makes them so creditable? Dont you think that if someone ran around performing mircales that hundreds of thousands of documents would be written about this, so why only one?

This is truly a knowledge versus belief battle, and I am still shocked at how so many people today believe a book written thousands of years ago over hard scientific evidence written maybe 10 years ago at most.
It's purely faith based. There's no evidence.
That depend on the gods that you are speaking of. I have around a dozen of each (male and female) and none came out of the Bible, and sure as Hel (yes, Hel with one ';l';, that isn't a typo) none came from the Koran.
