my snake is 22 yrs old now %26amp; also has cronic stomach rot. I've gotten him to pass the stones 2wce before by soaking. Only now it's not working. He's in pain, should I have him put down. I've had him for 21 years , please is their some other remedy. Maybe dissolve the stones, prevent them, causes? Mjneral oil? Please help. Sorry to say but i would have him put down.You've got to remember that even if you did get him to pass the stones you're not going to cure the stomach rot which will be putting him in alot of pain.Theres no point in trying anything else as it will make the stomach even worse.If hes 22 years old then you've given him a good life so dont let him spend the last few in pain.take him to a vet as you've said and do the right thing.Please only reply if U have true medical knowledge. MY advice to you would be to take it to the vet. You can try asking on forums that specify python knowledge.
