1. The law given at Sinai was the entirety of the old covenant written down in the book of the law, which was ratified with blood. Various churches have concocted artificial categories as a means of continuing to keep some of that law, which is impossible. To break one point of that ';whole'; law was to be guilty of all, seeing as that is how covenants work.





Some chop this law up into Moral, Ceremonial, and Sacrificial laws. Others have even more ';categories.';





';True knowledge of our sin'; is a rather loaded question, especially when you consider this is an attempt to define such through the old covenant and not the new. The law gave a knowledge of sin. The ';true knowledge'; of sin has to do with the heart of ';stone'; we are born with; that by our very nature we are sinful. That law could only expose sin and condemn the one who transgressed.

Sounds like you sluffed off when you should have been studying!!!!Don't know the first part, but the second I can help with, as we just got this revelation a few weeks ago. I'm not going to do all your work, I'll give ya the addresses, and you need to use the brain God gave ya to study, and write this out. Start with Hosea 4:6;, next, go to Proverb 1:7; 8:13; 2:5-6; 9:10;10:14;10:27; Psalm 34:11 - end; 97:10; 111:10. You should be able to pick out the theme, and use your concordance to search out the ';phrase';. Then go to Genesis 2: and 3, read the whole chapters, but pay CLOSE attention to what ties in with what you just read. You will probably be the only one in your class that will have that ';nugget';, Here is a hint, it also ties in with the cross. Pray and read over this, and ask God to show you,sleep on this, and reread it in the morning, and see what God does for YOU!!!
